What is the DLP?
Gafta's Distance Learning Programme (DLP) is an online alternative to Gafta Professional Development (GPD), designed for students who prefer flexible e-learning opportunities.
Who is it aimed at?
The DLP is aimed at professionals looking to increase their knowledge of the trade and gain a better understanding of Gafta contracts and how they are used within the trade.
What does it cover?
It consists of six modules covering the full lifecycle of a trade from contract formation all the way through to shipping and concluding a trade as well as what to do when problems arise and how to resolve them. You can find more on each specific module below.
How is it delivered?
The DLP is presented on Agribility - Gafta's online training platform.
Each module includes live tutorials with a Gafta expert, interactive learning tools and robust assessments, including a final written essay. There is also an app available for students who wish to access content on the go. It can send push notifications to your phone when you receive a new grade or feedback from the tutor as well as any news updates pertaining to your training.
