Member Application Information
Information provided in membership applications is stored in our membership database and used for membership administration.
Membership Directory
Upon approval, key member contact details (excluding internal administrative contacts) are listed in the Members Directory, accessible to Gafta Members only via secure login. Public versions are available for specific categories such as Superintendents, Analysts, Fumigators, and Gafta-qualified Arbitrators.
Member Email Communications
Gafta sends regular updates via email regarding trade policy, training, and events. You may unsubscribe at any time using the "Unsubscribe Me" link provided in these emails.
Gaftaworld Publication
New member details, including name and email of the main contact, are published in Gafta’s member magazine Gaftaworld to inform the membership of newly admitted members.
Events and Training
Data including name, organisation, email addresses, exam results and dietary requirements are stored in our database and on other electronic systems necessary to deliver the event, including the Agribility Learning Management System. Data is used to deliver the training or event service. Data is shared with speakers, tutors, sponsors and delegates attending the same event.
Use of Collected Information
We may use your data to:
- Improve your browsing experience and tailor website content.
- Administer event logistics, including issuing e-tickets, providing event details, and enabling networking among attendees.
