Gafta offers in-depth and structured training that covers all aspects of Gafta contracts, arbitration and the related legal principles involved with contracting for, and shipping commodities. Structured training is offered via 2 programmes, one face-to-face and one online. The individual courses/modules are available to purchase separately, but when all of them are undertaken they form a comprehensive overview of commodity contracts, essential documents, issues that may arise, how to mitigate risk and your legal obligations. Completing either the DLP or GPD programme provides students with the opportunity to take the Trade Diploma Exam and even progress on becoming a Gafta Qualified Arbitrator through the Arbitrator Diploma.

Gafta does not offer transferability routes between the GPD and DLP programmes.

These training programmes can lead to Gafta's examinations. Either route of training must be completed in full in a maximum of 5 years in order for students to be eligible to take the Gafta Trade Diploma or Gafta Arbitrator Diploma.
