What is the booking deadline for tickets/tables?
There is no official deadline for booking dinner tickets, however the event is usually sold out by 1 May, so we advise early booking to avoid disappointment.
What is the refund policy?
Please see the terms and conditions of booking for the cancellation policy: https://www.gafta.com/Terms-and-conditions.
If I book a table, can I choose where it is within the ballroom?
Unfortunately no. Those who book tables early will be given priority for tables closer to the stage and middle of the room, however Gafta cannot guarantee a table position for any company other than our sponsors.
How does single ticket seating work?
Guests who book individual tickets will be seated on our ‘mixed’ tables. A member of Gafta staff will serve as ‘host’ for each mixed table, so you will always have a familiar face to talk to.
If I book multiple single tickets, can I sit with my colleagues/friends?
Mixed table seating plans are designed to ensure the best value networking on the night for all guests, so we try not to have any more than 2-3 guests from the same company on each table. If you have purchased 6 tickets, your group will likely be seated separately.
If you wish to guarantee that all your colleagues and guests are seated together, you will need to purchase a table.
When will I know which table I am seated at?
The table plan is drafted around the middle of May and we aim to release it 2 weeks before the start of the event.
Each ticket to the dinner includes a welcome drink, 4-course meal, coffee, ½ bottle wine per person at the table. There will be a bar onsite for guests to purchase additional drinks, spirits, cocktails etc.
Yes. You can do this directly with the venue. An order form will be distributed to you table booker approximately 2 weeks before the event.
The Gafta Dinner is a formal black tie event. Black tie is the smartest dress code of them all (except white tie.) It refers to tuxedos/dinner suits and long formal gowns or jumpsuits.
Can I wear a cocktail dress or lounge suit? No, these do not fall under the description of black tie.
The menu for the evening is released on the night. All guests are expected to submit allergies and dietary requirements at least 1 month before the event.
